Tensions between Zelensky and Trump over the US President’s outreach to Moscow have exploded this week in a collection of escalating barbs traded in press conferences and on social media. Amid the disagreement, Zelensky stated Thursday he had held a “productive assembly” with US envoy Keith Kellogg. Within the US, a few of Trump’s group doubled down on their assaults on Zelensky, and VP Vance on Thursday defended Trump’s negotiations along with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
