Umesh Yadav and Jhulan Goswami named brand ambassadors for Vidarbha Pro T20 League

In a landmark announcement on Monday, the Vidarbha Pro T20 League confirmed that seasoned India pacer Umesh Yadav and legendary former cricketer Jhulan Goswami will serve as the official brand ambassadors for the upcoming season. The league’s management believes this move will act as a catalyst in nurturing young talent from the region and give a substantial push to cricket’s popularity in Vidarbha.
“We’ve always believed that the journey of a sportsperson begins with inspiration,” said Prashant Vaidya, Chairman of the league’s Governing Council.
“Umesh and Jhulan epitomize dedication and success. They are perfect role models for our young athletes, and we are truly proud to have them on board,” added Vaidya.

Umesh, hailing from Nagpur, brings a unique connection to the league—not only as a Vidarbha native but as someone who has worn the Indian jersey with distinction. With his experience on international pitches and strong ties to the region, Umesh’s involvement is expected to motivate the next generation of fast bowlers from central India.
Expressing his thoughts on the association, Umesh shared, “Representing my home region in this capacity is a matter of pride. I’m confident that this league will open doors for many emerging cricketers and give them a stage to shine.”
