Seek for survivors after passenger jet and helicopter collide in DC

An in depth search and rescue operation is at the moment underway after an American Airways flight collided in mid-air with a helicopter in Washington DC, with each crashing into the Potomac River.
Emergency providers chief John Donnelly has mentioned situations are “extraordinarily tough” at the hours of darkness and with icy temperatures.
The jet, which was coming from Wichita, Kansas, was carrying 60 passengers and 4 crew members. Onboard the navy helicopter have been three US Military troopers.
