Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians match shifted after India-Pakistan war escalates


The upcoming IPL 2025 clash between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, originally scheduled for May 11 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, is likely to be moved to Mumbai due to heightened security alerts in Punjab.

This came after India’s strong military response—Operation Sindoor—which targeted nine terror camps across Pakistan and PoJK in revenge for the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

With Punjab airports on high alert and Dharamshala located near the border, BCCI is reportedly considering relocating not just the Punjab Kings versus Mumbai Indians fixture but also the Punjab Kings vs. Delhi Capitals game on May 8 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.
