David Beckham couldn’t miss the chance to publicly celebrate his wife Victoria Beckham’s birthday.
“Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife, mummy and best friend that we could all wish for,” David, 49, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, April 16. “Have the most perfect day because you deserve to, and we love you so much.”
David also shared a carousel of throwback images of the couple, including shots of him and Victoria making out in a pool, cuddling on vacation and hanging out with their four children. David also uploaded a pair of rare photos of Victoria during childhood, where she sported a blue sweatsuit with pigtails and, separately, a nightgown while posing with a birthday cake.
“I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Victoria replied on Thursday, April 17.

David and Victoria have been married since 1999 and share sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, as well as daughter Harper, 13.
“I love you so much, mum,” Cruz gushed via Instagram comment on Thursday. “From day 1, you have showed us unconditional love and haven’t stopped since ❤️.”
David, meanwhile, shared more birthday tributes to the fashion designer on his Instagram Story.
“Happy birthday, Mummy,” David gushed, sharing more throwback family photos. “We all love you sooooo much. Happy Birthday, Posh. The look 😍.”
In a separate Instagram Story upload, David referred to Victoria as a “special mommy.”
“Love you,” he captioned a pajama pic of his wife. “Can’t tell if she is angry, moody or just flirting with me.”
David and Victoria are one of Hollywood’s enduring couples, recently chronicling their love story in 2024’s Beckham docuseries.
“Do we look like the couple seen in the Netflix documentary? Yes,” Victoria told Elle Spain in April 2024. “We like to have fun, chat, dance, drink and laugh at each other. We create moments for ourselves.”
She added at the time, “Sorry to disappoint you, but we are a normal couple: we have dinner and go to bed early. At 20, we never went clubbing, and at 50, that hasn’t changed!”
In an Us Weekly cover story that month, a source further offered insight into David and Victoria’s connection.
“They don’t brush things under the rug. They talk things out until they come to a resolution,” the insider exclusively told Us. “Neither one of them shies away from bringing up issues. It’s obvious to everybody in their inner circle that they love each other more than anything.”
