IPL 2025: Preity Zinta destroys Punjab Kings hater with a savage comeback

Bollywood actress and Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings’ co-owner Preity Zinta recently hosted an interactive session with her followers on X (formerly Twitter) under the popular hashtag #PZChat. What started as a light-hearted conversation filled with questions about her life, movies, cricket, and future plans quickly took an unexpected, dramatic turn when a fan tried to troll her team’s IPL journey.

Preity Zinta delivers a jaw-dropping reply to Punjab Kings hater

Preity, known for her lively spirit and candid nature, was initially enjoying the back-and-forth with her supporters, answering queries ranging from her favorite food to her thoughts on the ongoing IPL season. However, amidst the cheerful atmosphere, one user decided to throw in a sharp dig at her franchise, replying under her post, “Your team will not win for sure,”

Rather than ignoring the comment or brushing it aside, Preity chose to address it head-on, showing once again why she is admired for her fearless attitude both on and off the field.  She accused the user of having achieved nothing in life and delivered a stern message on respect and self-worth. Her response highlighted her pride as a self-made achiever and the importance of constructive dialogue.

“Spoken like someone who has never achieved anything in life. Since you have bravely attempted to participate in our chat here is a valuable lesson. Either have something constructive to say or keep quiet. I sincerely hope for your sake that you have a rich daddy to drag you along life, cuz this attitude can only fit in those circles not in front of self made high achievers,” Preity wrote on X.

Preity’s cinematic return after six years

Beyond cricket, Preity’s fans have another big reason to celebrate. She is gearing up for her much-anticipated return to the big screen in the upcoming film Lahore 1947, where she stars alongside veteran actor Sunny Deol. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by superstar Aamir Khan, the film promises to be a grand period drama set against the backdrop of India’s Partition era. Originally scheduled for release in January this year, the movie has been postponed due to post production work, and a new release date is awaited. Nevertheless, the excitement remains sky-high, especially since Lahore 1947 marks Zinta’s comeback to movies after a long hiatus of six years. Her last film, Bhaiaji Superhit (2018), also starred Sunny Deol, and fans are thrilled to see the dynamic duo reunite.
