If anyone can do it, it’s us

Morgan Rogers boldly declared “if anyone can do it, it is us” after outlining his plan for Aston Villa to produce a barnstorming Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG hold a 3-1 lead after the first leg of their quarter-final despite Rogers putting Villa in front at the Parc des Princes.
Morgan on the task at hand: “We know we’re good enough and we believe in our group and the manager.
“We’re here for a reason, we deserve to be here and have taken on any battle or opportunity this season, especially in this competition.” #UCL pic.twitter.com/vOcMu09uQN

Bullish Rogers confident of Aston Villa progression
The Ligue 1 giants look formidable under Luis Enrique and are among the short-priced favourites to win the competition but England midfielder Rogers was in bullish mood ahead of the return game in Birmingham.
He said: “There’s massive belief in the dressing room. I know most people wrote us off before this tie. But in the first leg, we gave a good account of ourselves.
“Of course, there are things that we needed to improve on but we know [PSG] now. There is a task on our hands. Under the lights at home in the quarter-finals of this competition, there’s not many better places to be.
“If anyone is going to turn it around, it is going to be us. It’s down to us and we are excited for that challenge.
“It’s going to be difficult and I am not saying that we are going to do it, but we will definitely give it a shot and go out there to win.”
Aston Villa belong here, says Rogers
Villa have arguably overachieved in reaching the last eight of Europe’s elite club competition but it is a mark of the progress they have made under Unai Emery.

And Rogers says the players believe they belong at this level.
He added: “We have reached this stage quicker than anyone anticipated us to. But we know we are good enough to be here.
“We have tremendous belief in the group, our manager and the coaching staff. We are here for a reason. We have taken on any battle that has come our way this season and we have won the games that we needed to be where we are.
“You could think we don’t deserve to be here but that’s not how we look at it. We fully deserve to be here and we need to keep pushing.”
