Argentina’s President Javier Milei gifted Elon Musk a chainsaw through the Conservative Political Motion Convention in Washington DC on Thursday.
Waving the chainsaw above his head on stage, Musk instructed attendees it was ‘the chainsaw for paperwork’.
The chainsaw was engraved with “Viva la libertad, carajo,” Spanish for “Lengthy reside liberty, rattling it.”
Milei famously wielded the facility software throughout his profitable 2023 run for Argentina’s presidency – an emblem of the deep cuts he has made to the nation’s state spending.
