Ancelotti calls on ‘magic’ Bernabeu to help produce comeback against Arsenal

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has called on the fans to make the Santiago Bernabeu a hostile atmosphere ahead of their Champions League return leg against Arsenal.
Los Blancos will need to overturn a 3-0 deficit if they are took book their place in the semi-finals, a task that only seems realistic for the European champions.
Speaking ahead of Madrid’s huge clash in the Spanish capital, Ancelotti said: “Tomorrow we need a bit of everything – quality and a complete performance, both physically and collectively. Not one of these things can go wrong.
“The motivation is there, and now I want the player to be calm before the game. I’m clear that we’re going to give it our all.
“We have the quality to turn this tie around, along with the commitment, the experience and the fans.
“The resources are there, and now it’s time to bring our best. Mentally we’re doing very well, and we have to have good control of the game.”
Jude Bellingham was the other man facing the media, and he shares the same attitude as his manager, believing Madrid can overcome the Gunners.

He added: Arsenal might be a young side, but on the other side, this is a team that is well organised.
“[Mikel] Arteta is working with them for a very long time, so they have a really clear idea on how to play, both defensively and offensively. And when you have that, you are more focused on what you have to do.
“I think there’s an expectation of Real Madrid that when we get in these holes we can come back.
“In England it’s not as common but it does happen. The club have done it so many times, so the expectations are huge.
“I’ve heard it a million times since last week, I’ve seen a million videos – it’s really motivating stuff.
“It’s a night that’s made for Real Madrid.
“A night that would go down in history but also something that people are familiar with around this part of this world.
“Hopefully we can add another special night.”
