Sutton Stracke Breaks Her Silence After Garcelle Beauvais Unfollows Entire RHOBH Cast on Instagram!
Sutton Stracke is standing by Garcelle Beauvais as her longtime friend steps away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following Season 14. After a dramatic reunion and an emotional exit, Garcelle chose to unfollow nearly all of her castmates on Instagram — including Sutton — sparking rumors of fractured friendships within the group.
In a statement to Page Six, Sutton addressed Garcelle’s social media purge with empathy. “Garcelle has chosen to unfollow all of the Housewives,” she said, referencing herself, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Bozoma Saint John. “I can only imagine that she needs a clean break right now. I love her and am giving her the space she needs.”
Despite the public unfollowing, Sutton voiced nothing but support for Garcelle’s next chapter. “I know that she is going to move through this next chapter with grace and success,” she added, reflecting on Garcelle’s decision to leave the show to focus on her teenage sons and new career opportunities.
The tension between Garcelle and Sutton appeared to surface during Season 14 when Garcelle felt unsupported by Sutton in a conversation regarding Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade. While Garcelle hasn’t publicly commented on the unfollowing, the social media move raised eyebrows among fans.
Sutton, however, seemed to reinforce the strength of their bond with a heartfelt Instagram post on the same day Garcelle confirmed her departure. She shared a throwback photo of the two on a group trip to Saint Lucia, captioning it “Friends Forever,” and even playfully referred to the duo as “RHOBH Lucy and Ethel.”
Garcelle announced her exit on March 25 via Instagram after five seasons as a full-time cast member. In her post, she cited her sons Jax and Jaid Nilon’s final year of high school as a major reason for stepping away. “Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that,” she said.
“And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that too.”
She also teased major projects on the horizon. “I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in,” Garcelle added. “I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon.”
While fans will miss Garcelle’s candor and presence on RHOBH, Sutton’s public show of support proves that off-camera friendships may still run deep — even when the cameras stop rolling.
